Queensland MTBO Champs

  
The Multi Terrain Bike Orienteers on behalf of Orienteering QLD invite local and interstate riders to Queensland's premier MTB navigation event. Although it's a championship event, riders of all levels are welcome to enter and classes are on offer to suit all levels of riding and navigational ability.

The venue for 2012 is the Woodford State Forest, halfway between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, just 1 hour travel time from Brisbane.

This event comprises 2 stages on the 18th and 19th of August:-

•  Round 2 of the National MTBO Series (NOL) (NOL Rules)
  
  
• Stages 1 & 2 of the QLD Champs (QLD Champ Rules)
  
  
• Rounds 6 & 7 of the State ROY Series (ROY Rules)
  
  

The QLD championship is a 2 day event with the cumulative time for both days determining the placings. Of course you can enter for just one day if you wish. Course lengths will be set to achieve Orienteering Australia (OA) recommended winning times. Day 1 will be the Middle distance event and Day 2 will be the Long Distance event.
