The Multi Terrain Bike Orienteers on behalf of Orienteering QLD invite local and interstate riders to Queensland's premier MTB navigation event. Although it's a championship event, riders of all levels are welcome to enter and classes are on offer to suit all levels of riding and navigational ability.

The venue for 2011 is the Yarraman and Pidna State Forests, near Blackbutt in the South Burnett region of South East QLD, just 2.5 hours drive north west of Brisbane.

This event comprises 2 stages on the 30th and 31st of July:-

•  Round 2 of the National MTBO Series (NOL) (Rules)
  
  
• Stages 1 & 2 of the QLD Champs (Rules)
  
  
• Rounds 5 & 6 of the State ROY Series (Rules)
  
  

The QLD championship is a 2 day event with the cumulative time for both days determining the placings and of course you can enter for just one day if you wish. Course lengths will be set to achieve Orienteering Australia (OA) recommended winning times. Day 1 will be the Middle distance event and Day 2 will be the Long Distance event.
